At The House Shuffle, we’re motivated by less. We want you to have a practical, comfortable home that reflects who you are. The less time, effort, money, and resources that go into maintaining it, the better!
We’re not just here to make things pretty and organized.
We’re here to reduce your mental load so you can focus on things that are more fun than never ending household labor.
We believe that investing time and energy to strategically address the root cause of what’s not working for you in your home pays dividends. Our focus is on less because we want more for you. More fun, more free time, more harmony, more coziness. Not more stuff though.

Meet Jayla
I’m Jayla. I’m an incorrigible optimizer. I love getting to know people and solving problems.
Helping people create practical, comfortable homes with The House Shuffle lets me do all my favorite things, everyday.
If I’m not working on a project, I’m probably outside walking miles and miles, looking at houses and nature, or reading a book. I read fiction for plot and character, non-fiction to learn how to do stuff and to try to figure people out. If you recommend a book, I will almost certainly read it.
A serial city monogamist, I’ve lived in Portland, St. Paul, Chicago, and Leicester. I currently reside in Tromsø, Norway with my husband, 2 boys, and 2 elderly world-traveling cats.
