All the help you need to create a practical, comfortable home that works for you. Collaborate with us anytime, from anywhere in the world.
HOW IT WORKS
No appointments necessary. The House Shuffle collaboration process takes place entirely online.
Step 1.
Mess Investigation
All House Shuffle projects begin with Mess Investigation where we get to know you & figure out what’s going on with your space, systems & stuff. Our investigations are online-optimized - no home visits required.
Step 2.
Collaborate
Communicate with us whichever way suits you best in the client portal. We can use chat, photos, videos, voice message and more. No need to fiddle with uploads and converting files - everything happens automagically with our app.
Step 3.
Best Next Step
At the end of your initial strategy session period, we’ll make a recommendation for your best next step. Whether it’s moving on to a full project with us, a resource recommendation or a referral, you’ll know what to do next.
Step 4.
Shuffle Project Proposal
If we agree that working together further is your best next step, we’ll create your personalized Shuffle Project Proposal. Structured like a roadmap, our project proposals tell you where your project is headed. Choose the sections where you need guidance and support, work independently where you feel confident.
Step 5.
Your Shuffle Report, Plans, & Support
After agreeing to your Shuffle Project Proposal, we’ll continue to collaborate, diving deep to efficiently address the root cause of whatever wasn’t working in your home. We’ll provide you with everything you need to carry out your project - detailed written reports explaining all our recommendations, storage and floor plan sketches, and a generous support period for any questions that arise as you put your recommendations in place.
Step 6.
Enjoy the practical, comfortable home you always wanted!

Achievable and Relevant
I have a small house, young kid and our main living space has a tricky layout. The solutions are relevant both to our space, and how our family uses the space. It is so much more restful on the eye, and I have a clear path to proceed. I really love both the improvement in the functionality of the space, and the reduction in the amount of brain space it takes up!

Amazing Resource
The House Shuffle was an amazing resource as my husband and I tackled a cross country move with our two dogs! I really appreciated having her guidance on what to look out for with booking the movers, as well as the awesome printable checklists and timelines to help us stay on track. She was really encouraging and able to give me reality checks that helped me recognize where my anxiety and perfectionism was getting in the way of me getting things done - I definitely recommend working with her!

Brilliant Ideas
The layout The House Shuffle suggested had key furniture pieces in place and included a brilliant idea I hadn’t considered. I used these ideas in my new home and am thrilled with the results. I was able to maximize the use of existing furniture, but this brainstorming also showed me why I actually needed to buy a new storage piece to fit my needs and sell furniture pieces before I even made my move.

Judgment-free
We have a reasonably large kitchen with a lot of cupboard space, but 6 years into living in this flat we have never settled on a layout that made sense. I was a bit hesitant to share our kitchen in all of its chaotic glory, but The House Shuffle made me feel really comfortable doing so without being judged. Being really upfront about where our problems were definitely meant that the solutions suggested were things that worked for us, not the people we aspire to be!
